Immigrant/Refugee Homework Club and Adult Literacy

The Immigrant/Refugee Homework Club is a joint partnership between RPCHC, Frontier College and Ve’ahavta (the Canadian Jewish Humanitarian and Relief Committee). Students are primarily new immigrants who live in the catchment area.
The homework club provides students with coaching and tutoring to support their school work. It is a forum for students to get ahead academically, as well as to increase their self confidence. This program also has an adult literacy component where parents can receive tutoring help as well.
