Housing Support Worker

The housing support worker provides culturally sensitive support, primarily to immigrants from Africa who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Services include assistance in applying, accessing and maintaining housing, short-term case management, advocacy (individual and systemic), assistance with income support and housing referral information.
Our housing worker collaborates with other agencies that provide housing support and develops and maintains partnerships with housing providers, such as TCHC, to support recently housed and perspective tenants.
