Chiropody (Foot Care)

In order to assist RPCHC clients in their overall health, we have a chiropody (foot) clinic to assist our patients in maintaining good general foot health and manage unexpected foot ailments. We provide assessments and treatment including soft tissue surgeries for a variety of foot problems such as ingrown or troubled toe nails, warts, diabetic ulcers and other skin infections. We also fabricate orthotics (custom shoe inserts) for clients with foot deformities or biomechanical malfunctions. Clients are referred by other RPCHC providers.

Our chiropody outreach services see clients in shelters and drop-in centres for homeless and vulnerable individuals. Some of the agencies we visit include Women’s Resource Centre, Friendship Centre and 416 Dundas Street. We are able to provide similar services to these outreach sites as we do at the health centre.
