Community Capacity Building
RPCHC staff work with community members, staff from other local agencies and/or city-wide coalitions to speak up against decisions (municipal or other) that have a negative impact on the health or the sense of well-being of a neighborhood.
Community development workers help the group to build the capacity to identify the under pinning root cause of their issue or concern and assist them to decide the best course of action to achieve positive change in respect to attitude, opinion, environmental conditions, corporate conduct or public policy and law.
